The First orientation meeting on the Chamber benchmarking Tools for Chambers in Iran, designed to compare qualitative indicators, was held virtually under the management of the ICC Iran National Committee.

The session was attended by Stephanie Vieilledent- the Head of Global Services of the ICC World Chambers Federation (ICCWCF), Yazeed Salah- The Senior Manager-Dubai Chambers, Nasser Maghdesi – Deputy Secretary General for International Affairs of ICC Iran – Mohammad Iman Shamloo – In Charge of International Affairs of ICC Iran – along with representatives of 20 Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines, Agriculture, and Joint Chambers from across the country.

During the meeting, comprehensive explanations regarding the access, use, and benefits of the Chamber benchmarking Tool Platform were provided by the Senior Manager-Dubai Chambers and the Head of Global Services at WCF, who also responded to participants’ questions.

It was agreed that further direct communication between the chambers and the platform’s relevant officials would be facilitated through ICC Iran. Moreover, ICC Iran will provide the necessary support to help chambers to develop and improve their operational processes within this platform.

The Chamber Benchmarking Tool, developed by Dubai Chambers for the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF), is a first-of-its-kind global platform designed to help chambers of commerce to assess and enhance their operational performance and strategic foresight by:

• Discovering curated best practices and success stories from around the world.
• Strengthening their impact with tailored insights and recommendations.
