ICC Global Environment and Energy Commission will hold its next meeting on 25 April, 14:00-17:00 (CEST).
Recently, ICC has announced four appointments to lead the work of its Global Environment and Energy Commission, a global forum for the business community to shape policy discussions on the international sustainability agenda, including climate change and green economy.
The new Commission officers will work with the Global Environment and Energy Commission Chair and ICC Global Headquarters Environment and Energy team to provide strategic direction to ICC’s international sustainability agenda.
Their work will drive business engagement on the development of coherent policy frameworks, solutions and tools that enable and scale enhanced ambition and action – in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, the United Nations (UN) Convention on Biological Diversity and the UN Sustainable Development Goals – and facilitate a just and inclusive transition to a sustainable, net-zero emissions and nature positive economy.
