ICC Iran Held the Second Meeting of Its Representatives in All Local Chambers of Commerce

ICC Iran held the second meeting of its representatives in all local Chambers of Commerce across the country on September 14, 2020. The meeting was chaired by Mohammad Khazaee, Secretary General of ICC Iran. The representatives participated in the meeting are all international experts introduced by Heads of 34 chambers across the country. This meeting was held virtually due to the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus.

The meeting was held to expand the cooperation of local Chambers of Commerce across the country with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Iran ICC Secretary General emphasized the need for more participation and presence of chambers of commerce across the country in ICC events, to establish communication between chambers and ICC.

Mr. Mohammad Khazaee said: ICC has capacities and capabilities for local chambers, which are also members of ICC to facilitate trade and investment. He also noted the need to benefit from ICC services including training courses, legal advice, commission reports and content, use of the services of the World Chambers Federation (WCF) and the need to play an active role in it.

Mr. Khazaee announced readiness of ICC Iran to introduce the opportunities, achievements, services and efforts of the country's chambers of commerce at the international level, through the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

In this virtual meeting, the representatives of some chambers of commerce expressed their suggestions and opinions.

Such meetings with the presence of representatives of all chambers will hopefully be held on a monthly basis.
