A meeting of the World Chambers Federation Executive Committee took place on Tuesday, with discussions focused on the future of WCF work and its leadership. In opening remarks WCF Chair Hamad Buamim thanked John Denton for living up to his promise to participate in all WCF Executive meetings, which has contributed to strengthened alignment of work programmes.
Mr Buamim also presented for approval, a selection committee recommendation for the incoming WCF Chair and Vice-Chair which will be put forward to the WCF General Council for approval during its virtual meeting next week. Upon agreement, the nominees will then be put forward for ratification by the ICC Executive Board on 13 June and formally by the ICC World Council during its 14 June hybrid meeting in Mexico City. Mandates for the incoming leaders will begin on 1 July.
