ICC launches official ICC Alumni group

ICC has launched ICC Alumni, a network bringing together former staff for continued engagement with the world business organization.

Launched as part of continuing ICC centenary celebrations, the official ICC Alumni group aims to develop ties among former employees in support of ICC’s contemporary purpose to enable business to secure peace, prosperity and opportunity for all.

Guided by ICC’s core values – Connected, Generous, Liberated and Pioneering – the ICC Alumni recognises members as valued stakeholders in shaping the work and future of the institution. Membership of the new group will comprise former full-time staff of ICC and its International Court of Arbitration – including overseas case management and representative offices.

“Just because a former employee no longer works for ICC does not mean the conversation, the engagement and the network building have to end. The ICC Alumni enables stakeholder relationships to continue developing, engagement to remain mutually beneficial, and diverse perspectives to continue feeding into our purpose-led organisation,” said ICC Secretary General John W.H. Denton AO.

Through the official ICC Alumni group, former staff have an opportunity to reconnect with ICC and will have opportunities to engage in the current work programme and campaigns of the institution. As a member of the values-aligned ICC Alumni, former employees will also have opportunities to network, benefit from discounts on ICC products and receive priority notification of career opportunities.

Former ICC Director of Communications and Alumni champion Bryce Corbett, now Director at Domestique Consulting said: “The strength of ICC has always been its network. So many of us have had similar experiences of working in this place that brings together business from all over the world and puts them in this kind of crucible where ideas are exchanged and relationships are forged. Now to have a network that continues to develop those relationships is an excellent idea.”
